1 day to go: CamCOP Rooted! 🌿
Here's everything you need to know.
Hi everyone,
The energy is building here in Cambridge. Tomorrow, we kick off CamCOP: Rooted – our annual student-led climate conference. Whether you are joining us in the halls of Newnham College or tuning in from across the globe, we can’t wait to share this weekend with you.
Joining us In-Person?
We have a packed schedule of four panels and two roundtables exploring nature-based solutions in climate action. Check out the programme on Luma or Instagram. A few essential reminders for our attendees:
Arrival: Doors open 15 minutes before the session time listed on your ticket. Please arrive early to settle in!
Networking Drinks: Don’t miss the chance to connect. We’re hosting networking drinks Saturday at 6:00 PM in Sidgwick Hall, Newnham College. It’s the best time to meet our speakers and fellow attendees.
Tickets: If you haven’t registered yet, get your free tickets at lu.ma/camcop.
Can’t make it? Join the Live Stream:
For our followers outside of Cambridge, you don’t have to miss out. We will be live-streaming all four panels throughout the weekend.
You can access the stream on our YouTube starting tomorrow morning.
Huge thanks again to our sponsors — Cambridge Zero, the Department of Geography, the Department of Plant Sciences, the Student Union, and Wolfson College’s Sustainability & Conservation Hub — for making this weekend possible.
Looking Ahead: Cambridge Climate Week
The momentum doesn’t stop on Sunday. Cambridge Climate Week officially begins this Monday, March 16th! Expect a full week of workshops, talks, and community action hosted by groups across the university and city.
Check out the official schedule at lu.ma/camclimateweek and learn more at camclimateweek.co.uk.
See you soon!
💚 Niklas and the whole CCS committee
