We’re excited to be hosting Elizabeth Mungai from C40 Cities, Dr. Carolina Vasilikou from the Architecture Department, Thomas Noble and Eleanor Broad from Create Streets, Yair Perry from Water Sensitive Cambridge, and Tyler Goodwin from Space House for a panel on the race for cities to adapt to climate change!
March 15th, 10am-4pm: Cambridge Climate Ideathon @ Student Services Centre (New Museums Site). Sign-up through this form!
Join 30 students across all academic disciplines and backgrounds (undergraduates and postgraduates) for a one day challenge to ideate and tackle pressing climate issues in Cambridge, such as increasing tree canopy cover or implementing plant-based catering across the SU.
Alongside expert mentors and judges, teams will develop implementable solutions in just one day, with the chance to win a prize of £30 each!
Free pizza lunch and snacks will be provided.

Join us for an afternoon exploring how cutting-edge science is reshaping what’s on our plates. From lab-grown meat to plant-based innovation, we’ll dive into the breakthroughs redefining food production, sustainability, and nutrition.
Expect thought-provoking talks, interactive Q&As, and even a chance to sample the future of food!Stick around for networking from 7pm at a local pub. Attendees are welcome to drop in and out through the event.
Refreshments will be available, as well as some food samples from our speakers!
