🏫 CCS Education Team
Hey all! This is a call for applications to be part of the Cambridge Climate Society (CCS)’s Education Team (2024-2025). The Education Team is building on the momentum from last year's Education Reform Project (ERP) which looked at integrating more climate-related content into undergraduate curriculum across 7 different courses. This year, we aim to incorporate other aspects and entities of the University of Cambridge into our journey of making Cambridge a more sustainable place.
As part of the Education Team, you will be involved in (1) participating in the continuation of the ERP which is focused on both the content and sustainability competencies of undergraduate courses, (2) organising and facilitating the workshops to encourage society strategy-building, and (3) pushing out engagement for college green officers.
We are looking for creative people who have an interest in sustainability, and are looking for places to implement ideas and solutions in the University regarding sustainability. We welcome anyone from any discipline, no prior knowledge/experience about sustainable education is required.
Expected time commitment: The expected workload for this role will be 1-2h per week, including meetings with other Education Team members.
Deadline for application: Wednesday, 23rd October 2024, 2359
